Blackmagic

Connect Blackmagic DeckLink capture devices directly to CameraGraph as a video source. Use professional capture cards to bring in HDMI, SDI, or other external video feeds alongside your cameras and screen shares.

Once the driver is installed and a device is detected, a Blackmagic option will appear in your add menu.

  1. Open the Add menu in your scene
  2. Select Blackmagic
  3. Choose your device from the device dropdown in the inspector
  4. The video feed will appear in your scene - position and resize as needed

CameraGraph auto-detects the input format of your Blackmagic device. If the signal changes (e.g., switching from 1080p to 720p), the resolution updates automatically.

You can add multiple Blackmagic sources to a single scene. If you have several DeckLink devices connected, each element can target a different device. Multiple elements can also share the same device - CameraGraph manages a single capture stream per physical device and distributes frames to all subscribers.

  • Ensure your Blackmagic device is connected and powered on before launching CameraGraph
  • If your device isn’t appearing, verify the Desktop Video driver is installed via the Blackmagic Desktop Video Setup utility
  • Use Frame Delay to sync your Blackmagic feed with audio if you notice lip-sync issues
  • Blackmagic sources support the same background removal, chroma key, and mask features as the Camera element
